The Meckorn 16 Inch Chainsaw Chain features a 3/8" LP pitch, .043" gauge, 56 drive links and semi-chisel cutters. Designed as a reliable replacement chain for compatible 16-inch chainsaw guide bars, it delivers smooth, controlled cutting performance for everyday cutting, firewood and property maintenance.
Compatible with select Craftsman, Dewalt, Echo and other compatible chainsaws using the same 3/8" LP .043" 56DL chain configuration.
Important: Chainsaw models may use different chain configurations depending on the installed guide bar. Always verify 3/8" LP pitch, .043" gauge and 56 drive links before ordering.
Why Choose Meckorn
Semi-Chisel Cutter Design
Semi-chisel cutters provide smooth, controlled cutting performance and maintain their cutting edge well during general-purpose use.
Reliable Everyday Cutting
Designed for firewood cutting, property maintenance, tree care and other routine chainsaw applications.
Smooth & Consistent Performance
Engineered for consistent chain travel and dependable cutting when properly installed, tensioned and lubricated.
Durable Replacement Chain
A practical replacement for worn, stretched or dull chains requiring the same 3/8" LP .043" 56DL configuration.
Check Your Chain Before Ordering
Bar length alone does not determine chain compatibility.
Before purchasing, check the markings on your current guide bar or count the drive links on your existing chain.
Make sure all three specifications match:
3/8" LP Pitch + .043" Gauge + 56 Drive Links
If the pitch, gauge or drive-link count is different, the chain will not fit correctly.
Chainsaws of the same model may use different guide bars and chain configurations depending on production year or replacement bar setup. Always use the specifications on your currently installed guide bar as the final fitment reference.
These chains work great in my Milwaukee Pole saw. The chains are identical to the OEM chain and their configuration and specs meet that of the Milwaukee owners manual for chains. In the pics, the all black chain is the Milwaukee OEM and the chain with the brighter links is the Meckorn chain. This box had four individually wrapped chains.
The Meckorn chain upon test had little to no kickback and I intentionally tried to induce it. The chain throws a long chip and cuts relatively fast. I was using a fully charged battery on 1 inch material. The Meckorn package instructs on file diameter and pitch for the users information. I file my own chains.
My local shop charges $10 to sharpen a chain. You can buy 4 of these for $15. So it is a no-brainer on that one. I would continue to file mine until I couldn't, and then replace them.
I'm not a professional logger or tree service. I just use the saw on my own acreage at my convienience.

Works 395xp
Fit my 395xp just fine. Actually has a grease hole on the roller to be able to maintain the grease in the tip of the bar. Chain was good, not great, but good. Especially for the price.

24" bar and chain
I have pushed them hard and they work well. I will buy again.

Good quality for Stihl
These were very good quality. I bought others for a different chainsaw (not a Stihl) that were nowhere near as good. I was very happy with these.

Worth the price and quality chains.
Great chains so far for the price, they are staying sharper longer than the ones that came with the saw and their replacement blades.
